We are a passionate group of high school students dedicated to bringing you the latest news from the exciting world of scientific research and innovation. Our newspaper club was established in Spring 2023 at Global Vision Christian School Broadfording, with a mission to bridge the gap between complex scientific concepts and our community.

Our team believes that science is not just a subject confined to textbooks or laboratories; it’s an integral part of our everyday lives. From the technology we use daily, to climate change affecting our planet, to advancements in healthcare improving human life – every aspect connects back to science.

BroadfordingScience was born out of a desire to make science more accessible and engaging for everyone. We strive not only to report on new scientific discoveries but also explain them in an easy-to-understand language that anyone can appreciate.

Our talented team consists of aspiring students who are interested in scientific world of the 21st century who work together tirelessly each week. We cover students’ research papers and recent scientific news. Each edition features news articles on recent discoveries, thought-provoking editorials on pressing issues related to science policy or ethics, insightful interviews with scientists from around the world and students’ research papers from science classes offered at Broadfording.

We believe in collaboration over competition. As such we are always open for contributions from students across different grades who have something interesting they want their peers (and teachers!) learn about. We also encourage feedback because it helps us grow better as communicators and educators.

As we continue our journey into exploring this vast universe through words printed on paper (or pixels on screens), we hope you’ll join us!
